If GIFs aren't for you then these libraries containing mostly stills will serve you well. You can use filters like lensing, colour palette, aspect ratio and so much more. You can even type in "party scene" and a bunch of images from films with party scenes will pop up. Helpful to build your storyboard.

Free to use.

A repository of tasty frames from some of the best films ever made. The only drawback is it doesn't allow you to search by visual technique. But you can gain some insight into how the visual language of a film is constructed with lighting and colour palette.

Free to use.
